Overview
The Solar Analyze Tool empowers MEP designers to seamlessly integrate renewable energy design into Revit workflows. By simply selecting roof surfaces, defining orientation, slope, and entering the project’s geographic location, the tool automatically performs precise solar potential and energy yield calculations. It evaluates irradiance, panel efficiency, tilt, and shading factors to determine optimal placement and total system capacity. The tool then generates a comprehensive report detailing solar exposure, estimated annual energy production, and financial performance metrics. All calculated data—such as capacity, panel count, and efficiency—are automatically linked back to the Revit model, ensuring consistency and easy access for documentation.
