Overview
The Riser Diagram Tool builds schematic riser diagrams automatically from the systems already in your Revit model. It reads vertical distribution for mechanical and electrical systems — levels, shafts, mains, branches, and connected equipment — and lays out a clean, standards-style riser on a drafting view or sheet. Story heights come from the model's levels, so multi-story distribution is always drawn to the correct relationships, and labels, sizes, and flow directions are taken from real element data rather than typed by hand. When the model changes, the diagram can be regenerated in seconds instead of redrawn. The result is consistent, model-driven riser documentation for design reviews, coordination meetings, and permit sets, without the usual manual drafting effort.
