Overview
Dynamic Wall Rebar Tool automates reinforcement detailing for structural walls directly inside Revit. Select any wall (cast-in-place, core walls, shear walls, retaining walls, or cores with openings) and the tool instantly places vertical, horizontal, distribution, and boundary element bars based on your predefined templates and code rules. Parameters such as wall thickness, height, exposure class, bar diameters, spacing, cover, lap splices, hooks, and development lengths are all respected. Openings, door/window edges, and coupling beams are reinforced with rule-based edge bars and confinement zones, while seismic detailing and shear checks are handled through configurable presets aligned with Eurocode 2, ACI 318, or your office standards. Everything remains fully parametric: change geometry or loads, and reinforcement updates with one click. The tool also generates schedules, bar marks, bend shapes, and shop-drawing sheets, ensuring consistent documentation. Clash-aware placement reduces coordination issues with MEP and embeds. Results are dependable, auditable, and dramatically faster than manual modeling—freeing engineers to focus on design quality and constructability.
