Overview
The BOQ Tool automates the full bill-of-quantities workflow directly from your Revit model, turning architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and ELV data into clean, accurate, and auditable Excel outputs in minutes. It reads architectural elements such as walls, floors, ceilings, roofs, doors, windows, finishes, rooms, and façade components; structural elements such as foundations, columns, beams, slabs, reinforcement, framing, and connections; as well as equipment, ducts, pipes, fittings, valves, insulation, supports, lighting, power, panels, trays, conduits, cables, accessories, and ELV components. The tool consolidates quantities by discipline, system, level, phase, material, size, designation number, family and type, space, zone, or work package. Smart parameter mapping harmonizes Revit family data into standardized BOQ columns, while unit normalization supports SI, Imperial, and mixed-unit projects. Built-in validation detects missing parameters, duplicates, exclusions, mismatched codes, and modeled-but-not-scheduled elements before export. Configurable Excel templates allow grouping presets, WBS codes, cost placeholders, specification references, classification mapping, multilingual headers, and company branding. The output can include Summary, Detailed, Pivot, and optional Change Log sheets to track quantity and revision differences between model updates. With one click, the tool produces professional, tender-ready BOQs for estimating, procurement, subcontractor validation, tender evaluation, cost control, and commercial coordination—reducing manual effort, improving consistency, and minimizing quantity take-off risk across all major Revit disciplines.
