BIMix develops Revit plugins and software solutions for the AEC industry. Our goal is to make everyday workflows faster, simpler, and more efficient.
We create ready to use Revit plugins for common industry needs. We also develop custom solutions tailored to specific project and business requirements. Every product we build is focused on solving real workflow problems with practical and reliable software.
Role Description
You will design the surfaces around the plugins: the ribbon our tools appear on, the desktop manager that installs them, the dashboard that licenses them, and the site you are reading. One designer, four surfaces, and a system that has to hold them together.
You will not be handing off flat frames. You will sit with the engineers while it is built, and you will be the one who says the render does not match the file.
Qualifications
- You have designed and shipped software people use for work, not only marketing pages.
- You build and maintain a design system rather than decorating screens one at a time.
- You can read the front end well enough to see why a spacing looks wrong in the browser.
- You are specific about type, grid and spacing, and you can defend each number.
- You have designed for a dense professional tool where the user is an expert and in a hurry.
